Sunrise Rotary Inaugural Colour Me Run a huge success

JOHN, B.C. – The Sunrise Rotary Club of Fort St. John says the first-ever colour me run in Fort St. John was successful.Kim Van, Sunrise Rotarian Chair of the Colour Me Rotary Run says that there were over 500 participants in the run including kids that participated.Although final money numbers have not been calculated, Van says that they are confident they surpassed the $10,000 goal for the fundraiser.- Advertisement -The funds from the event are going towards the Spray Park in Fort St. John.Van added that the Rotary Club is already in the stages of finalizing a date for next year with a ‘bigger and better’ run.All 500 sports were filled for the event in just under 61 hours once registration opened in May.Advertisementlast_img
