Up front, you get a 6.1-inch Full-HD+ OLED with an 19:9 aspect ratio and a notch on top of the display. The notch houses a 24-megapixel selfie camera with a portrait lightning feature as well as the earpiece and some additional sensors. The biggest highlight of the phone is its triple rear camera setup that comprises of one 40MP primary RGB sensor (f/1.8) plus one 20MP Monochrome sensor (f/1.6) plus one 8MP Telephoto sensor (f/2.4). The P20 Pro by default shoots 10MP shots by combining the data from four adjacent pixels into one through a feature that Huawei is calling Light Fusion. The unique triple camera setup has also helped the P20 Pro rank as the best camera smartphone yet by DxOMark. The RGB and the Monochrome sensors don’t have OIS but they are assisted by what Huawei calls AIS or AI-enabled stabilisation. The third camera meanwhile ships with OIS and allows for 3X optical zoom and up to 5X hybrid zoom.advertisementAs far as everything else is concerned, the Huawei P20 Pro is powered by a Kirin 970 processor that is coupled with 6GB of RAM. The phone runs Android 8.1 Oreo-based EMUI 8.1 and houses a 4,000mAh battery. There’s no headphone jack, but, the phone comes with an LDAC for higher-bitrate Bluetooth audio streaming. The Huawei P20 Lite, meanwhile, is a cheaper version of the P20 Pro that comes with stripped down hardware specs and a dual rear camera setup. Like the P20 Pro, the P20 Lite also sports a notched display and a 24-megapixel front camera with portrait lighting feature, as well as a glass back. The mid-range phone comes with a 5.84-inch Full-HD+ IPS LCD screen with a 2280×1080 pixel resolution, an octa-core Kirin 659 processor, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage (expandable), Android 8.0 Oreo-based EMUI 8, and a 3,000mAh battery.ALSO READ: Huawei P20 Pro review: A triple threat to Galaxys, iPhones and Pixels of the worldlast_img
